The first time that I step into Carousel is in November 2008 after my GCEO Levels. It is located on Royal Plaza on Scotts Hotel , 25 Scotts Road. The price for entry into this lavish restaurant buffet is $46 for adults on weekdays for lunch , and $50 for adults on weekends for lunch. But with that amount payed for your entry, it sure is very much worth its price! The place is huge with a wide variety of food to choose from!

If you would like to know more details regarding the Carousel, do visit this website.
http://dining.royalplaza.com.sg/

It has all the information you need. There is even a sample menu of the food that can be found there! Im sure you will not regret your visit to the Carousel. Fresh seafood, Desserts, Rotisserie roast chicken, beef and lamb, salads, cheeses, asian delights, sushi, sashimi, you name it!

There is this particular blog that I came across.
http://www.eatdrinknbemerry.com/2011/01/carousel-royal-plaza-on-scotts.html
The author of that blog is a  food adventurer who tries many types of food and then blogs about his experience and the rating of the food. And, in that blog post, the author tells us more about how we could get to the Royal Plaza on Scotts, where it is located. He also mentioned about the food that he tried and how is the taste and quality of the food there. I personally believe that the author gave his most honest comments about his experience there and wasn't biased at any point of time. He even recommended some dishes for others to try.

Buffetllicious!

This is a picture of my pet cat Ash, trying to have some of my Thosai!

Last year, there was this programme called "Buffetlicious" on Mediacorp Channel 5. Its a programme that shows all types of buffets, from lavish to affordable ones, from high end restaurants in hotels to dining with the animals at the Singapore Zoological Gardens..

It was my favourite show at that point of time. Everytime the show is on, I will find myself drooling over the delicious food that are being shown. Wah.... Usually when I have the crave for some kind of food in the middle of the night, I would go to xinmsn.com and I would watch the episodes of "Buffetlicious" on Catch Up TV.
But since the programme was about a year ago, it couldn't be found on the website anymore. So I provided this link of a malay food programme called "Makan Boomz". It's a programme where the hosts go around singapore to find the best of the best dishes.
Also, as I also have the passion to cook, I love watching those episodes over and over again, just to get some inspiration for new recipes that I would try out by myself.
There is another website that I am a fan of. This website has easy-to-follow recipes which is good for those who just started cooking. This link features the recipe for a Quickie Grilled Salmon. The author of the website also tells us about her experience in cooking that particular dish and the substitutes that can be used if you don't have that particular ingredient.
